Project 2: Worn-out shorts

Here we are again.

I've been drooling myself in finding what to do on my next project. So I searched my own closet, and found those I previously wear frequently, but don't wear anymore.

And so I found 2 of my favorite shorts! I put them aside because they have some slash/hole or thinner fabric in the crouch area due to inner thigh friction (chubby/fat people knows what I mean).

This shorts is kinda big for me now, since I slimmed down a little. Lol... Very, very little. (I guess)
I wanted to make its's size a little bit smaller and to accentuate the butt. :D
I also wanted to remove the slash/hole you see on the photo below (that is what I'm taking about earlier, regarding the friction-ed area of the shorts).
Also wanted to shortened its length.

So here is the appearance of it after I do the alteration. You can see that the slash/hole is not completely removed. :(
But I did some work-around to fix it. :)

Next one is also my pre-loved shorts.
I use it whenever and where ever I can. It's one of those wash and wear clothes that I have.
The same with the other shorts the crouch area fabric is the problem, but this time it's thinner than the other parts of the shorts.

Since the crouch area is the one I'm having problem with, I altered it there. Below is the new look of it.

Now, I'm ready to use them again! Thanks to my new handy-dandy sewing machine!

Project 1: Blue Over-sized Blouse

Hi guys!

OMG! This is my first time to write a blog. I've never done this before, so can I say that I'm still VIRGIN on this? ^_^

Anyway, I want to show you my very 1st project. I bought this in 168 Mall, Divisoria for just Php 99.00!!! It's freakin' H&M but its 3XL. And you can also see the quality of the fabric, its cotton!!! I sooo love it! <3

And when I tried it, its like a dress but it's super short. It has huge space under the armpit area and at the back. It's really over-sized.

For it to be more appealing to the eyes... I did some alteration/modification. I chopped of the excess fabrics! :)

Now, here is the Before and After look of it.

I hope you enjoy reading it. Join me on my next venture!

Thanks for viewing my post!

My New Sewing Machine

I searched over the Internet the haven of sewing machines and found this blog. So I went there and found myself buying one for just Php4,050!

I'm now looking forward for a new experience of sewing and alteration projects using it. Excited much!
